No trip to San Francisco would be complete without pigging
out at the Fisherman's Wharf fresh seafood stands!

Right: Where I ate; best food for excellent prices. 18 lightly
battered, fried shrimp, a Corona, and homemade cocktail sauce
for only 10 bucks!


 
Pier 39 is famous for restraunts and raree shows (street shows)


The opportunistic gulls are found wherever people and food are!


 
Alcatraz Island, once a famous penitentiary, is now a popular
tourist destination. You wouldn't have wanted to do time on
"The Rock". It was supposed to be escape proof...


 
Lombard street makes a series of S-Turns to deal with the
elevation change. Don't forget to put your car in park!


Ah, what the heck, let's try it...



"Where little cable cars, climb halfway to the stars..."


Making sourdough bread at Boudin's bakery. The yeast for this
dough is natural, i.e. it exists in the SF atmosphere.


 
Bidding San Francisco farewell, I cross the Golden Gate Bridge
heading up north on the Pacific Coast Highway once again.


This poignant statue stands as the "Lone Sailor Memorial" 
overlooking the entrance of San Francisco Bay...
