Biscayne National Park

In the early afternoon, after visiting the Everglades, we drove back towards the east to spend a couple of hours here at Biscayne National Park. The shore portion of the Park includes a nice walk out on a jetty. Enjoying the sunshine along the walk... Lounging on a Park bench... An american coot hunts through the underbrush Looking back across the lagoon where boats are docked, ready to take visitors out across Biscayne bay to islands that comprise most of this Park. The nicely done visitor's center is up on the hill in the background on the left.
